The National Trust for Historic Preservation partnered with Karastan, a division of Mohawk Industries, to create a line of patterned carpet designs under our Design in America™ brand inspired by the look and feel of America, reflecting a unified expression of America's diverse design heritage.
This carpet collection is patterned after the architecture, interiors and gardens of historic sites across the country. The rich heritage of these homes is forever entwined in the dreams of yesterday, while making your home a beautiful and more personal place in which to live—today.
The collection includes ten patterned carpets plus two coordinates and is patterned after the architecture, interiors and gardens of historic sites across the country. Inspiration and products within the collection include: Brucemore, Drayton Hall, Filoli, Filoli Gardens, Lyndhurst, Lyndhurst Gallery, Oatlands, Shadows-on-the-Teche, American Heritage and National Legacy.
